This year, our family decided to vacation closer to home and bring along extended family. We had enough points to rent a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom suite in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC at Sunchaser Villas. Our suites were very spacious and had beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. We did, however, have crazy weather while visiting, which I understand is common in the Rockies. One minute it would be thunder and lightning and the next sunny as can be.
Tip: don’t wait for the weather to be perfect or you might not leave your suite!

We recently spent a hot and sunny week at the beautiful Lawrence Welk Desert Oasis Resort (#2318) in Cathedral City, California. Surrounded by rolling hills and majestic mountains, the area is a component of the luscious green oasis that sprawls along Southern California’s Hwy 111 and includes Palm Springs, Indigo, Rancho Mirage, and several other small cities.
The Resort’s focus was customer service and the staff made every effort to see that guests were taken care of well. The Activity Room offered a weekly schedule of arts & crafts sessions, ping pong tables, video and board games and even bingo and casino nights.

Last spring, my husband and I took a trip of a lifetime! A long sought after dream to visit Greece materialized when we had the opportunity to take a second honeymoon. We first visited the busy city of Athens and walked among the ancient ruins. The people of Greece are eager to share their history with you.
You can witness the changing of the guard in front of the government building. All young men in Greece must serve in the military, but only a select few are chosen for the changing of the guard duty.

The units are converted hotel rooms, and we had a one-bedroom unit that was the size of two hotel rooms with enough space for a family of four. The units are also conveniently equipped with a small sink, microwave and fridge. There is a community kitchen should you require a stove or oven.
