The Mexican Riviera – Grand Mayan Resort – two weeks – WOW! Last December, we were able to spend two luxurious weeks at the Grand Mayan Resort near Playa del Carmen. Resort amenities and staff were exceptional.
We worked hard at enjoying the myriad of crystal clear pools serving the Grand Mayan and the Mayan Palace. The weather was great with temperatures consistently in the 30s [celsius] during our stay.
Food services were exceptional from the poolside service to the formal dining room of the Tromonto Restaurant and Wine Bar, or the more casual Lago open air buffet and show venue.
Resort staff was active; daily providing entertaining activities for kids and adults. The grounds were immaculately kept and featured a wide variety of colorful tropical vegetation.
