Kauai - By Request
November 2006

Widely considered a lush paradise, Kauai is Hawaii's oldest island and home to some of the most scenic terrain in the world.

The 900 metres deep Waimea Canyon (formed by the Waimea River) was used in 1993's blockbuster film Jurassic Park.

In Kauai there are 28 resorts in the RCI network. A few we noticed are:

  • PAHIO at Ka'Eo Kai
Located in Lihue, the PAHIO offers beautiful views, swimming pool and tennis courts. Close to shopping, dining, and nightlife activities.

  • Kauai Beachboy Hotel
A beach resort in Kappa with swimming pool and outdoor Jacuzzi that provide great views of the Pacific Ocean.

  • WorldMark Kapaa Shore
Enjoy a swimming pool, sun deck, whirlpool, tennis court, as well as a barbeque and picnic area at this Kapaa resort.
