The Pahio shares the same grounds as the Radisson Beach Resort and therefore, we were able to access the many amenities provided by this hotel. There are 4 tennis courts (2 lighted) 4 pools, a spa, restaurant, Internet cafe, fitness centre and a lu'au.

This property was first a Hilton, then an Outrigger and now it is a combination of a Radisson and timeshare. This resort is located between Lihue and Wailua on the east shore, a few miles from the airport. It is located on a pretty but rocky beach with enough wave action for boggie boarding.

They have installed a wonderful half sand lined freshwater pool to augment their other 3 pools, that are surrounded by lush vegetation with waterfalls and a hot tub built into a cozy lava enclave. The pool hut provides fresh towels and 'sunset beverages' are available from wait staff.

The timeshare is divided into 'lettered blocks'. You may be lucky to stay in the wonderful oceanfront 'G Block' but more likely in a garden view block. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean and quite. This resort deservedly is a Gold Crown.

We would recommend that members attend the orientation and continental breakfast. The knowledgeable staff gives an overview of the island and highlights some of the activities that you may want organized for you. The staff was very helpful by recommending several different restaurants and they made the reservations on our behalf.
