Legendary Service in Las Vegas
December 2005

Just thought I would write a few lines about our recent stay at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at the Flamingo in Las Vegas this past September 11th to 18th.

The location is as good as you can get. We were a short, pleasant stroll through the Flamingo Hotel's pool area to the center of the strip. Caesar's Palace, the Belagio, the Flamingo, of course and Bally's all sit at the intersection.

Most of the other major hotels are within walking distance, however we chose to rent a car for the week ($20-25 a day) which allowed us to go to Costco etc. and all the hotels have very accessible parking at no charge.

We also drove to old Las Vegas and at the end of the week decided the vehicle was money well spent.

Back to the Hilton, we found the staff to be more than accommodating and very friendly.

They could not do enough for us and when we did need something (a second mattress as the fold out couch needed one for comfort) no sooner had we made the request than they were knocking at the door with the mattress.

We had a 2-bedroom condo that could accommodate 8 (we were 6) and we were very happy with it. Lots of room, good kitchen facility, comfortable beds - definitely 5-star.

The club had it's own pool area with hot tubs, barbecues and bar and we made use of that area every day as well as barbecuing dinner one evening.

We also had full use of the Flamingo Hotel's facilities, pools, tennis courts, nature area and much more. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay at this location on our next trip.
