 I just had time to drop you a line to tell you how impressed we are with our first Vacation on the RCI Points System. Dave and I became members in November 2001, we both love to travel and saw the opportunities the plan would provide for us to travel when we wanted to go.
Dave and I both agree, without a doubt, the Time Share was the best investment we could have made. We know that in only a few more trips such as this, we would have spent much more that what our Time Share cost us.
We are going to recommend it to our friends, we want to share with them the wonders that we experienced on our first Time Share Holiday. It was first class, all the way.

| We converted to ‘Points' in March, 2000, and have experienced many of the benefits – and improved our options for travel.
Our first use was for five nights at Pacific Shores . Two benefits not available to ‘Weeks' owners: we chose a 1 BR unit; and a stay of less than one week, at a cost of 10,100 points (about 20% of the cost of an average 2 BR for one week). Now that's flexibility!
For June, 2001 we booked our home week. The only cost was the points for that week.
For September we decided to visit our daughter who is living in Boston . We spoke with an RCI counselor and quickly arranged timeshare weeks. The Partners Desk also arranged for an Avis car rental.
For November we were able to take a long anticipated trip to Cancun , Cozumel , and Playa del Carmen in the Yucatan Coast of Mexico. We were able to get the same check in day for all three, and in the order we wanted!
This spring we decided to try to look for a 2 BR week on the Oregon Coast for April or May. The Point cost was 9,000 due to the ‘instant exchange' timeline.

 We flew into Las Vegas on Valentines Day and stayed at the wonderful new resort The Cliffs at Peace. It was nice being able to get away from the glitz and glitter, sounds and pace of the Casinos, back to our comfortable resort.
We then drove the four and a half hours to Palm Springs and checked into Vista Mirage. Again , the suites were great, very spacious and nicely decorated.
It was great to have the contrast between the two locations. The pace, glamour, action of Las Vegas to the relaxing, interesting style of Palm Springs. This was a great vacation with great resorts. . . We would love to do it again!
See you in May for our yearly stay at Pacific Shores Nature Resort.

RCI Points allowed us the ability to make our 3 weeks of timeshare ownership grow into 8 weeks of timeshare usage this past year and we even had points left over! We were able to capitalize our RCI Points usage by choosing a unit size that fitted our current needs and gave us the most value for our points. The flexibility of RCI Points permitted us to tailor the length of our stays with RCI Points Partners. (No more weekly time frames).

 We have just returned from a fabulous three-week vacation to three islands in Hawaii using our new Points program, and can't say enough about the success we have had. We managed to get two last-minute condos in Honolulu for only 9,000 points each per week. All properties were first class properties. . . If these transactions are any indication of what we can expect in the future using RCI Points, we will be very happy. The staff at RCI have been great to deal with as well.
