This year we decided to vacation on the most beautiful island of them all – Vancouver Island! We stayed at Pacific Shores and couldn't believe the fantastic eating facilities they have added. The view was second to none, overlooking the beautiful ocean, and the service was first class. The weather was just what we expected: not too hot, no hurricanes, tornadoes or tsunamis. Not only could we drink the water, were not bothered by trinket sales people on the beach and there was no problem with the language. We didn't have to submit to removing our shoes at check points because there was no airline to catch -no lineups, no hang-ups, no delays. We just drove on up and parked. The staff was friendly, helpful and we couldn't have had a better holiday.

At Pacific Shores

Spring really has sprung early this year!  A dry and warm April has accelerated the growth of everything, from the Hostas, the Hardy Gloxinia, already in flower, and the Himalayan Blue Poppy's. In our aquariums, the Stripped Seaperch have given birth to several babies, our octopus is getting larger everyday, and different algae's and seaweed's have successfully started to grow in the aquariums.  Read full article
