Jessica Woollard
Originally from Sudbury, ON, Jessica moved to Victoria in 2005 to pursue graduate studies at UVic.
After finishing her Master’s Degree in English Literature, Jessica worked as both an elementary and high school teacher for a few years before turning her attention back to writing.
She now works in communications at Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS), a job that allows her to combine her passion for writing with her appreciation of good education.
In addition to working at GNS, Jessica actively pursues freelance work by writing for local magazines such as Island Sports News; designing English as a Second Language tests for Creative English Solutions; and writing and designing marketing material for local small businesses.
For fun, Jessica plays violin in the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra and hockey for Active Pass, a local women’s league.
