Hi everyone,

My family and I are moving to Victoria to in the near future. I will be working with the fractional sales team at Parkside, but am having some difficulties finding a place to rent.

We need a four bedroom that is pet friendly. It would be helpful if it was near schools, as we have three kids that are ranging from grades 7 to 11.

The biggest challenge we are having is with the pets, so if anyone knows of any rental properties that meet the above criterion, please email me with the info at trevor.feltham@aviawest.com.

When we market Aviawest Resort Club, we have a marketing budget. So, if we can redirect some of those marketing dollars toward purchasing an iPad for you, we see that as a win-win. 

With that in mind, we are piloting a new program.

Hector and I would like to recognize the tremendous achievements of all the sales people across all departments for their performance this past year.

In what can only be described as a challenging year for the world economy, the team at Aviawest never stopped working, training and getting the job done.

We would like to recognize Sue Lauman as the successful candidate for the position of Contact Center Team Leader.

We hope you will join us in congratulating Sue on her new promotion, commencing January 3, 2011.

Sue brings lots of experience and excitement to the role, we know you will support her new position and look forward to a exciting New Year for the daytrip department.

On November 30, 2010, the sales teams of Aviawest Resorts were invited to Pacific Shores for some amazing sales training offered by the infamous and talented Linda Clemons.

After a full day of workshops the teams enjoyed a "Murder Mystery" evening at a High School Reunion.

Everyone dressed the part—amazing costumes and characters!

Check out what's new at Parkside!

We're bringing Apple's iPad to our guests with the unveiling of our complimentary iPad Bar this week.

Located in our atrium's new Discovery Centre, and perhaps the first if its kind, the custom-built iPad Bar features four touchscreen tablet computers with access to Internet and various iPad applications designed to improve the guest experience and add a new level of convenience.

Released in April 2010, Apple's iPad created international buzz as a sleek alternative to laptop computers.

September has definitely been Parkside's month! 

After winning five awards at the Canadian Home Builders' Association CARE Awards Gala on September 24 (including the top honour CARE Development Project of the Year), Parkside was awarded a 5 Green Key rating with the Green Key Global Eco-Rating Program!

Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa played belle of the ball at the Canadian Home Builders' Association CARE Awards Gala on Friday (Sept. 24), sweeping the ceremony with five awards including the top honour CARE Development Project of the Year!

Parkside (Ocean Place Holdings Ltd.), along with partner Interior Design Group, also took home awards for Best Commercial Project, Best Commercial Interior, Best Project Website and the Award for Outdoor Environmental Achievement.

Chief Development Officer Andy Pearson made five trips to the stage with Interior Design Group President Lana MacRae, surrounded by loud applause from the packed Crystal Ballroom at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
