Welcome Chris
We're pleased to welcome Chris Stewart, who started last week in the role of Hotel Sales Manager.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Business, Tourism and Hospitality Management from La Trobe University and also completed the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program at Camosun College.
In addition to his sales skills, his experience in the operations side of the hospitality business, including roles overseeing front desk operations, inventory and distribution channel management, reservations teams, F&B and lodging operations, will provide him with a good understanding of both the needs of our guests and the complexities involved in successfully delivering on guest requests.
His background includes time with organizations including The Fairmont Chateau Whistler, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, The Wickaninnish Inn, Shelter Restaurant, and The Nita Lake Lodge.
Most recently, Chris worked for the Vancouver Olympic Committee in Resident Host Services, leading project teams operating the Olympic Villages, followed by work with the Canadian Olympic Committee in Ottawa.
Chris is from Victoria and is excited to be back in his home town close to his family with the opportunity to help us grow our hotel business. Chris will be based in our Victoria office and will be primarily focused on driving business for Parkside, Pacific Shores and Water's Edge. Please join me in welcoming Chris.
