We had a great turn out (and even sold out!) for our first wine seminar on May 4, 2011 at Pacific Shores.

We had lots of happy neighbours and wine enthusiasts from the Fairwinds Golf Community.

We covered northern Italy, the Piedmont and Venoto regions. The food was designed to pair with the six wines from these two region.

Parkside's first Earth Expo & Farmers' Market on Saturday, April 30, 2011 was a huge success. The event was well attended and we couldn't have asked for better weather!

Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa is extending this year's nationwide celebration of our planet by partnering with local businesses and organizations this year for an Earth Expo & Farmer's Market on Saturday April 30, 2011.

The event is designed to be fun and educational (and tasty!) for kids and adults alike, offering a glimpse into some of the creative ways Victoria is initiating eco-friendly practices.

I wanted to share an event I am hosting this coming Saturday (March 19) for 1073 KOOL FM. It's for the Persian Community as its their NEW YEARS.

Tickets are only $10 and there will be singing, belly dancers, a DJ, plus door prizes and more. Food and drink is also on hand as well.

Ryan Stewart, Innkeeper at The Pinnacle Lodge at Sun Peaks, sent over a couple of pictures from their staff Christmas party.

They had a gingerbread man decorating contest, and Andera Campbell's gingerbread man was voted as the best!

Looks like they have lots of snow there, too!

On December 19, 2010, we had a very excited group of kids ranging from newborns to 11-year-olds at Parkside for the annual Kids Christmas Party.

They decorated gingerbread men and had pizza, juice, candy and dessert for lunch, followed by the grand entrance of Santa and his Elf.

Each child had a chance to sit on Santa's knee and give him a high five before opening their gifts and enjoying a showing of the Polar Express in our movie theatre.
